Directorate of Mobilization is to provide effective advocacy on the plight and condition of Ijaw people and promote cultural and social values of Ijaw tradition through dance, music, folklore and literature.
To promote interethnic cooperation and enter into arrangement with any friendly ethnic organization that is sympathetic to the Ijaw Cause.
To embark on programmes that will create and promote unity, understanding and friendship among all members, Ijaw sons and daughter and Communities to that effect to promptly intervene in peace building efforts and dispute resolution.
