To research into and interrogate issues of infrastructural deficiencies, poverty and ignorance and provide solutions through partnership or collaboration with public and private sector actors to undertake projects and programmes for self-reliant development of the Ijaw nation.
To cultivate and perpetuate an interest in entrepreneurship, dignity of labour, acquisition and utilization of her inherent potentials, capabilities, network, connections, and goodwill to develop sustainable programmes, models and action plans for a self-reliant more independent economy and development insulated from political shocks and external instabilities for prosperity and wellbeing of members and Ijaw nation in general.
To research, disseminate knowledge and promote scholarship and understanding about the prevention and control of diseases to improve the environmental health and wellbeing of members and Ijaw people and Communities.
