The Directorate of Finance and Humanitarian services is to make periodic contributions for the advancement and promotion of charitable or benevolent activities for Ijaw people and society.
To promote and encourage the creation of an endowment fund and to raise funds either by borrowing or by fund raising activities within the limits permitted by law for the purpose of carrying out all or any of the objects of IPA.
To provide members with benefits where necessary such as financial assistance and relief in sickness, accident, disablement or distress.
