As the inauguration of the newly elected members of the Executive Management Committee of INDG/IPA approaches on 28th May 2023, it is important to familiarize ourselves with the profiles of these esteemed individuals. Each member brings a unique set of skills and experiences to their respective roles, promising a diverse and capable team to lead the organization. Let’s take a closer look at the profiles of these accomplished individuals who will shape the future of INDG/IPA.

Prof. Prosper Ayawei – President

Prof. Prosper Ayawei holds the position of Executive Director of the International Psychometric Centre, overseeing psychometric studies in all polytechnics and colleges of education in Nigeria. He serves as the African representative of PETROFORCE, a renowned global oil and gas company. Prof. Ayawei is a distinguished researcher and founder of the innovative concept of Psycho-morphology, a branch of organizational and behavioral psychology. This concept has found applications in various fields such as management, environment, medicine, accounting, sports, marketing, communication, and more. With extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, Prof. Ayawei has held high-level positions, including working as a special adviser on NGOs and donor agencies and serving as the Chairman of the Oil and Gas Committee and Consultant on Ecological Matters in the Bayelsa State Government.

As the incoming National President of INDG/IPA, Prof. Prosper Ayawei brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role. He has presented papers in 37 countries and delivered lectures at numerous higher institutions, both within and outside the country. His diverse background in academia, research, and the oil and gas industry positions him as a valuable asset in driving the development of the Ijaw Land, Nigeria, and Africa through the Ijaw Nation Development Group.

Hon (Mrs) Meg Agidee Vice President

As the coordinator of the Bayelsa Women Empowerment Initiative, Hon (Mrs) Meg Agidee is dedicated to building capacity and creating safe spaces for women in Bayelsa to flourish in their chosen businesses. Her passion for empowering women and fostering economic growth makes her a valuable asset to INDG/IPA.

Bishop Perey Gilbert Apreala – Director: Diaspora & International Affairs

Bishop Perey Gilbert Apreala holds the prestigious position of President at Image Of God Church Int and serves as the Executive Director of Operations at Superior Protection Nig. Ltd. With extensive experience in international affairs and a strong commitment to the diaspora, Bishop Apreala brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to his role.

Maobuye Nangi ObuSecretary

Maobuye Nangi Obu is a multifaceted professional with a background in public health, social activism, and governance. As a Public Health Practitioner, Social Media Critic, and Co-founder & International Coordinator of African Youths for Good Governance in the UK, Obu brings a diverse range of skills and perspectives to the table.

Karinate Odushu Assistant Secretary

Elizabeth Kings Organizing Secretary

Eric Pere Yanyangbini Esq Director: Legal Services

Eric Pere Yanyangbini is a legal practitioner at Atima K.A & Co, with prior experience as a Deputy Director at Ondo State Government. With a legal background and expertise in administration, Pere Yanyangbini will ensure that INDG/IPA operates within legal boundaries and effectively handles any legal matters that arise.

Eugenia O. OpanimiDirector: Contacts & Mobilization

Eugenia Opanimi, currently serving as the Operations Manager at Century Real Estate and Logistics Limited, is known for her multitasking abilities and result-oriented approach. With strong administrative and research skills, Opanimi will play a crucial role in building contacts and mobilizing resources for INDG/IPA’s initiatives.

Josima Joe ColeDirector: Treasury & Finance

Josima Joe Cole brings a wealth of critical thinking skills and diplomatic acumen to the committee. As a seasoned technocrat and truth advocate, Cole will ensure effective financial management and transparency within the organization.

Patience Okoroafor Director: Welfare

As the Managing Director of Rubbies Cleaning and Decoration Services, Patience Okoroafor understands the importance of welfare and support systems. With a background in human anatomy, Okoroafor will champion the well-being of INDG/IPA’s members, ensuring their needs are met and fostering a conducive working environment.

Elder Pereladei AprealaDirector: Education, Research & Planning

Elder Pereladei Apreala brings a wealth of experience in the field of education and planning. As the Pioneer Registrar at Niger Delta University and a former Special Assistant/Governor’s Special Representative at Bayelsa State Government, Apreala possesses the expertise to develop effective educational strategies and research initiatives for INDG/IPA.

Arch Tom Inko TariahDirector: Communications & Public Relationships

Arch Tom Inko Tariah, the CEO of Estate 2000 Consolidated Limited, has been involved in various architectural projects for over 26 years. With a background in architectural drawing and experience in project management, Tariah will spearhead the committee’s communication and public relations efforts, ensuring effective engagement with stakeholders and the public.
