INDG/IPA Announces Training Retreat For Its Incoming EMC Members

Greetings, esteemed members of the Incoming 2023/2025 EMC!

We are excited to inform you that the Indigenous National Development Group (INDG) is organizing a day training retreat to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills for a successful tenure. The retreat will take place on the Zoom platform on

Wednesday, 24th May 2023,

at 7 PM Nigerian Time.

The training retreat will cover a wide range of topics essential to your role in the EMC. Some of the key areas that will be discussed include:

  1. INDG Historical Background: Understanding the roots, vision, and mission of INDG to effectively contribute to its goals and objectives.
  2. INDG Organs and Functions: Gaining insights into the various organs and their functions within INDG to foster collaboration and seamless coordination.
  3. Executive Positions and Functions: Delving into the roles and responsibilities of executive positions within the EMC to ensure efficient decision-making and effective implementation of initiatives.
  4. Setting Up and Actualizing Your Target: Developing a strategic approach to setting goals and translating them into tangible results for the benefit of INDG and its stakeholders.
  5. Budgeting and Procurement: Acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills to manage budgets, oversee procurement processes, and ensure transparency and accountability.
  6. Sustaining Harmonious Working Relationships: Exploring strategies for fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, and enhancing productivity.
  7. Planning a Proper Handover: Learning the best practices for a seamless transition of responsibilities at the end of your tenure, ensuring continuity and smooth operations.
